Hello. This is a multiplayer issue I've been having.

Before update 1.6.2 and 1.6.3 I was able to join games hosted in a steam deck. Now I can't join them anymore, every time I try to do so I get the can't connect message.
I've tried joining from the steam friends list, doesn't work. I tried using code and invitation, doesn't work either.
Something curious is that, in 1.6.2 the host would appear playing the game but it wouldn't be joinable from steam friend list.
now, in 1.6.3, it is available, but the option won't connect me to the host's game.
we've tried using compatibility mode, and it doesn't work either.

This is me playing multiplayer. My OS is Windows 10, the host's OS is steam deck's (Steam OS).
The language of our games is spanish.

  • Issue: Quest "The Giant Stump" stuck. I hosted a multiplayer game to play with people. One of my friends who hadn't seen much from the new updated activated the racoon tree by giving the 100 pieces of hardwood. I didn't want to do it because I already knew about it and I wanted her to experience it. It validated the quest for everyone but me. And of course, since the raccoon came (he even now has a wife and soon their first kid), I couldn't bring the hardwood to repair it since it was already done, so I can interact with the racoon but the quest is stuck.

Hey small bug I noticed (definitely nothing major)
When dismounting the horse at its stable, if the horse is pulled all the way in and you dismount to the back left, you can then walk through the stable as though it wasn't there.
I'm on PC, if it helps my save character has all books read (so speed buffs?)
English language
single player (I haven't tested it on multiplayer)

I have encountered a bug regarding the wardrobe.

You can pick up the wardrobe with items inside, even put the wardrobe inside a chest with the items persisting.
But if you leave the game with the wardrobe in a chest it loses all stored items.
 
I'm experiencing issues following my first green rain weather event.

Brand new farm in 1.6. English, Single player on a Mac (OS14.2.1), installed through Steam. Following the green rain event the oak and maple trees went back to normal, but all pine trees on my farm and every other part of Stardew Valley went green. Now random trees are turning into green rain trees in the Fall following the green rain weather event (both on my farm and in other parts of the valley).

I got Mayor Lewis’ shorts from Marnie’s room and put them in a chest to give to him at a funnier time. When that time came, I couldn’t find them anywhere. I asked my partner and it turns out he gave them back to Lewis. When he went to Marnie’s house, the shorts were no longer there. However, the quest is still active in my journal.

Hi! I'm player 2 on a co op farm on Switch, trying to bring attention to a long-standing bug that's been ignored. I completed the club card quest first and tried to get the card, however if player 1 doesn't have it first it despawns in the player 2 inventory. Can't save edit since it's on console, I would like to have the club card!

cannot complete "Giant Stump" quest on multiplayer

  • issue: multiplayer farm with host and one farmhand. both get giant stump quest; farmhand turns in the hardwood and completes quest, so that the stump house is built there for both players. host is now stuck and cannot proceed in the quest.

  • host clicking on the stump/raccoon just brings up the raccoon dialogue and prompt to turn in items

Pickaxe Swing causes Crash
I am playing on Steam Deck unmodded, English, single-player.

I just upgraded my Iridium pickaxe with the powerful modification in the volcano forge.
It is now the next day and any time I swing the pickaxe my game crashes and I am brought back to the game’s Steam page. It has happened when I try to hit the drum block, recycling machine, iridium sprinkler.

I am unsure how to go about accessing the save files on Steam Deck, and would be thankful for any advice.

I am also experiencing an error with Steam cloud sync. The Deck shows 360 hours of gameplay and my PC/mobile shows 90 hours. I don’t want to lose my main character’s file and would appreciate any tips on preserving it.

Issue: Movie Theater throws an exception after buying a snack and entering the movie with the dwarf and returns player to cinema entrance (all npcs are gone except the dwarf), when talking to the dwarf the whole game crashes.

I’ve soft locked in Linus’s winter cutscene because I’m continually walking into a baby tree.

The Trout Derby event won't let me finish Penny's 8 heart event, my character keeps walking but won't reach her bcs the tent is there

Purely visual glitch and only under very specific circumstances:

First, the game must be windowed. Open a save file, close to the main menu. Click on the E in stardew to get the alien easter egg and then click on any option except close (I use the co-op button), then go back to the main menu. Do this repeatedly and the black box the alien is in shifts each time!

**GAME BREAKING BUG**

Hello, Since last patch my game keep crashing when i go to sleep before it saves, I am on year 2 spring 15th the first day of the desert festival i tried to run the game and/or steam as admin and it didn't work.

The game is a game I play in co-op with my girlfriend, i have also tried to be alone in the game, and the farm in singleplayer and it still crash

I am the host of the game
I have no mods installed.
My game is in english
We are both on windows 11
Got the game on steam

we are completely locked out from progressing since it crashes every single time

I have looked on reddit and steam and it seems some other people are crashing at the exact same day

I can't get to the desert for the festival. Year 2, Spring 15. There is a sign at the bus stop that says "I'm going to the festival today, kid! You'll have to drive yourself. -Pam". Except Pam never goes to the festival, she sits in her trailer the entire day. Other townspeople get on the bus but she never comes. Interacting with the bus does nothing and interacting with the ticket machine gives me the usual "Please return when a driver is present" message.

Hi, I'm playing on English, PC Windows 11, single-player. I restored the community center and got the cutscene on a Monday morning. JojaMart closed and changed sprites, became inaccessible as usual. However, Shane and Sam still followed their old routines and walked into the store as if they were working even though the store was run down.

my characters fishing animation stopped during the fishing minigame. once i finished the minigame successfully, i didnt catch anything. I clicked to fish again and now im stuck in the reeling in a fish animation without the minigame. i cant move or click anything but the game isnt frozen (willy's animation and water animation is still going, time is still running). windows, unmodded, english, single-player

edit: this happens when you animation cancel during the fishing minigame, then sucessfully catch the fish, then when the minigame ends, you will softlock if you try to fish and land your bobber on a non-fishable tile.

My game crashes before saving at the end of the day, but only when loaded as a co-op server. My friend and I cannot progress in the game. This issue started with the first 1.6 update. I was able to fix the crashes this first time by closing the Ginger Island Resort. Everything was smooth sailing from there until we reached the Desert Festival for the first time.

The end of day crashes returned. After repeating the first day of the festival a few times, crashing each time, we decided to skip past it. I loaded up the game in single player, and I was able to get through all three days of the festival just fine. This did not stop the crashes post-festival. I thought that surely since the crashes started on the first day of the festival, they would stop once it was over. I would love to have this issue solved, as it has made this update overall a pretty big bummer for me.

Steam Deck user - 1.63 - Single Player game

Unable to pick up wall furnishings in house with the first upgrade completed:

1) The wall planter (not sure if unable to pick up in general or not)
2) Unable to pick up this painting that I placed "pre-married" - now it's glitched into the 'new wall'
