The Important Stuff:
Realised I could get the vault for Starfruits next season and still have heaps of money left over! That's 2/6 done!
Got my 1st stardrop of the run when I got to floor 100 of the mines!
The Random:
In the middle of smelting all my quartz and gold up for quality sprinklers, I haven't gotten iridium just yet so i'll save getting those for fall.
Flower dance came and went! I chose not to dance with anyone, though I could've danced with Shane or Haley. I've got a certain space cowboy to stay loyal too :smug:
Speaking of which, 4 nearly 5 hearts with my future husband. Shame their birthday is on the 28th of Winter or this would've been going much faster by now
Gold Pickaxe and Silver Axe + Hoe, everything is getting its upgrade!
Construction bundle and Exotic Foraging bundle are finished! Getting closer and closer to the end :3

If anyone want's to know my current levels:
9 farming, 10 fishing, 6 foraging, 7 mining, 5 combat

Anywho, that's it for my latest checkup! I'll drop in again when I feel like i've completed more.
Have a wonderful day, everyone! :owo:

currently worrking on prize tickets to see if its a dehydrator or fish smoker then changing to a new farm map and trying again, lol
You can check it on any save with https://mouseypounds.github.io/stardew-predictor/

A lot of things is seeded at the start and can be controlled if you start a new game with a specific seed.

Those tools are at the 12 position so there are 36 quests to do (-1 with hidden ticket). Don't plan strategies around those items as by the time you get them you should be able to craft the desired quantity on your own. A singular smoker is usually ok as high-value fish aren't that common while a dehydrator is much slower and will have to be crafter in larger quantities.

more automation and less handling of animals, more fishing and mining, lol
Been there, done that...

I would say you have few options. First, the simplest one is to use SMAPI (mod handling launcher that can be used to give yourself any item, freeze time, etc) on the first day of the farm and give yourself a set of items. Like for example - 4 or 6 iridium sprinklers and your farming area can't exceed their range. That's simple and won't break the longer gameplay.

The second option is to set up your farm on day one as you see fit - add pine cones, tree fertilizer, pathing, and logs to set up a full forest on day one. Add a fish smoker, and bait maker and you are ready to fish and mine.

The third option is to play with an automate mod - https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1063 - which can auto-harvest logs, some crops, trees, etc, and use processing machines. This can give you a fully automated farm based around green tea, mushroom logs, or whatever else. Handy in the mines as it automates bar smelting.

What I've also noticed is that smaller more regularly shaped maps that fit your screen or close are more appealing when you don't want to go around and check micro-manage stuff - you see and you already know.

- https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/18439

Or ultra-small where you don't really farm, or build much:

- https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/27297
- https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/26209
- https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/24233

- https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/24137 - my challenge always-winter farm

- https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/27518 - meme farm map :)

--------------------------

My current playthrough is zero mods on Riverlands farm and after I unlock the greenhouse, limited to around winter or late fall, I switch to Automate and big greenhouse mods. I want to push more with mines, late-game quests, and fishing strategies, more rare stuff like slime hutches etc.

Scrapping my last post because I ended up playing today anyways!
ended up swallowing a thumbtack, had to go to the ER

Summer 2nd, Year 1!

Some HEFTY things begun now that I wasn't restricted to trying to rush starfruit;
  1. 300 Blueberries
(quality sprinklers being smelted right now.) I also misplanned and misplaced HEAPS of these blueberries by doing 1 sprinkler, tilled soil, 1 sprinkler. Definitely annoyed the hell out of me, ended up with less than 200.
  2. Quality Corn + Melons for the QC Bundle
used up all my good fertilizer planting 20 of each into the ground filling in whatever gaps from the blueberries I left  Praying I get more.
  3. COOP!
or at least Robin's building it it. Placed grass starter in a fenced off area, praying that I don't need hay (if I do let me know, I destroyed all my grass)
  4. Redecorated my entire farm
Pathed it all around, set up 12 furnaces with the automate mod to smelt stuff, planned for fish ponds and my animals. All very fun!
  5. Sewer Key
I've gotten the sewer key! Haven't gone down there yet, busy skull cavern farming for Iron and Gold (getting 38 Quality Sprinklers isn't cheap! Might buy most of the ore, actually...)
  6. Few bundles done!
Won't go into the specifics (this is a long post), getting close to finishing Crafts though.

Have a great one, everyone! :awe: Here's my updated character, Luka, who I gave a few updates thanks to Summer coming through.

Made a new save (way to many :D) just to get some progress log of what's possible in first month or two without going to bleeding edge each day:

Spring:
- day 4: dagger from fishing dropped
- day 15: fishing sword dropped
- day 18: coffee bean
- day 19: iridium bar random drop :)
- day 25: Holy Blade with Crusader enchant
- day 28: end of mines reached.

Farming 5, mining 7, Foraging 5, Fishing 9, Combat 6. I made a big error of planting a batch of wild seeds instead of kale and I didn't got farming 6 for quality sprinklers... while having resources for 25+ sprinklers day one of summer -_-.

Spring total earnings at ~60K and 10-15k still locked in unsold ~170 spring wild seeds and some other stuff not to mentions stashed geodes and gems. I limited strawberries to like 50 so that I could rush axe and pickaxe upgrades to steel on-cooldown. I got steel axe and pickaxe late spring, house upgrade on summer start (silo first), first bagpack upgrade early, second early summer. Some bad/not optimal decisions were made but still not bad ;)

Green rain summer: 630 fiber, 283 moss (bit more next day), 21 mixed flower seeds, 35 mixed seeds, 4 mossy tree seeds.

It's always a little concerning when the town doctor has requests like this. ^_^

Those were some great drops though!

Was heading to the mines to complete a quest, decided to swing by and say hello to my boyfriend Sebastian. Talking was just enough to bump me up to 10 hearts, and it was raining, so immediately abandoned the quest and went down to the beach to buy the pendant.... except I was 200 gold short, and it was a Wednesday so I could't just sell some cheese at Pierre's. Ended up selling some stone to Robin, buying the pendant, and by the time I was on my way back Sebastian was heading down to the beach himself. I thought, hey, we shared a moment in the rain on that pier recently, it'd be a good proposal spot. Handed him the pendant, he happily accepted, and then his very next line:

"The ocean is best enjoyed alone... don't you think?"

This guy.
