Sebby's more into slimes, frogs and pumpkin, he never mentiones garlic anyway. And you get garlic seeds first in Year 2. And there's a list of interesting decorations for a dark Farm, gravestones and weird statues, DARK furniture, Wizard catalouge...

Summer doesn't seem to have a whole lot of fitting options. Maybe corn? And winter doesn't have many crops to choose from in general. Powdermelons and wild seeds.
