heart event bug

My game is up to date, I have seen all of Emily's previous heart events, the weather has been sunny as needed, and I still am not getting a letter to trigger the event. Not sure what to do? Has been 2 days since I reached 10 hearts with her. I'm in Winter 2 if that is relevant.

I have had Maru at 9 hearts for 2 weeks in-game now and still have not been able to trigger the 8 heart event. I go in the carpenter shop multiple times every day while she is there and it has never triggered. Is there another prerequisite for this heart event?
