Switch Missing 3 heart recipe from Willy

I have all my villagers at 10 heart. Was working my way through the recipes and noticed I didn't have Chowder with is the 3 heart recipe. I've tried shooting him with slingshot to reduce his hearts but that doesn't seem to be working.

Am I missing something? How do I get that last recipe?

You can give him hated gifts to reduce his hearts and see if you receive the Chowder recipe when he is at 3 hearts.

This could be the same issue as in this thread. If you go through all the steps I recommended in that thread and you’re still having issues, unfortunately you might be out of luck; no save file editing on Switch. :(

If you don’t know how to take & post a screenshot (it’s quite difficult on Switch), just ask; you will find help that way. ;)
