The turn dial ones are nice. Digital electronics bring problems, because the designers think they know what people want, so they try to force their values on the consumer through electronic engineering.
For example: If i want to put another 30 seconds on my sammich, i shouldn't need to open the dore and close it again. I should just be able to put 30 seconds on the timer and walk away.
Funny how inconvenient technology is sometimes.

The only microwave I'm familiar with has two buttons: one to add a minute to the timer and one to pause/stop it. It is older than me though.
I've also never seen a toaster in real life if that says anything.

Toasters are kinda...idk. You like them if you like bread a lot i guess? I'd rather a toaster oven, personally. Toasters are gross. Especially the ones that are designed to toast hot dog buns, but also have a slot for you to toast a hot dog in them as well. I can't get the gross off of my soul from just even looking at it.

If I like bread I will eat it as it is. Without anything too, which is crazy to some people. If I don't toasting it probably won't change much.

I once found a soap bar with around a third of it bitten off in the school bathroom. No one saw the kid who did it but eveyone agreed there was only one guy who could've done that.
