Which bachelor/bachelorette do you usually choose?

I remember gravitating towards Elliott in my first playthrough, but then I met Harvey. I also thought Sebby was interesting but I haven't married him at all in any playthrough, I might in my newest one though.

So, who do you choose?

Why penny?

She seems like a warm and good person, still has a life and goes to town to tutor the children. She also made the most incredible bedroom for us. And I like some of her random comments.

A little concerned our toddler crawls around in the house all alone, but we all have flaws and really, what can really happen in a house with a doorless stair down to a wine-filled cellar, and a large aquarium next to the children's room?

I usually marry Penny. She is kind hearted and works hard. The fact that she stays largely independent even after marrying the player is a plus too. And somehow, a lot of the women I dated in real life were teachers as well, so I guess that works for me as well.

I tend to disagree that penny is kind hearted, considering a few of her interactions. I get the impression that her character is written that way. For me, I don't like her because she is overbearing and demanding, even if it comes from a good place

Yeah, lol I would have put Krobus but since he (they?) isn't a romantic partner, I decided not to.

Had totally forgotten about that, but to me it just shows that she wants to help others.

Sometimes she makes me pancakes in the morning. I love pancakes. What's not to love about that?

Why penny?

Some people do enjoy her company. She’s smart, self sufficient (raised herself after all ), and has a loving generous heart. She was the only adult willing to educate and provide aftercare for the children of Stardew. She maybe seems clingy or complains a lot about her hardships to the new farmer, but she’s been through a heck of a lot and has only Maru and occasionally Sam for friends. Now she hopes to have another in you.

And I don’t think that was even a literal push, it was just her wheeling him to the side to open the mailbox. It just looked like a push because it's a pixel game and therefore difficult to replicate.
