I don't know why she is as popular as she is, but it doesn't matter to me. Anyone hugely popular is always going to have haters, though. Some hate due to genuine dislike, others for questionable reasons (like thinking it's "cool" to hate on someone/something).
The extremeness of the lengths to which some people go to be fans or haters is not something I can even begin to understand.

Her music is easy to cry to ahaha I'm fine guys. Idk its just easy listening and I can jam in my car. Nice lyrics to sing along to, my friends all like the songs. Her music has just kind of always been there in my life and it's fun to follow along with the eras tour (even though I never got to go despite my best efforts). I guess that makes me a swiftie, bc I mostly only listen to her. Maybe thats a problem but I don't really care because hey its not drvgs!

I personally am not a fan of her music but don't HATE her or anything.
She's had some more than questionable choices, but not anything too crazy compared to most celebrities. I usually find issue with her extreme fans that over-glorify her. I think it's good to always be critical of those who you look up to and I find that some swifties don't see it that way.
