Why Hate Taylor Swift?

I wouldn’t consider myself to be a swiftie, but a majority of my friends are swifties, so I MUST KNOW THE LYRICS SO I CAN VIBE WITH THEM!! I have no idea why people hate Taylor though. I asked one of my classmates and they just said she’s annoying. I also ran into another person online and said they just didn’t like swifties because some were mean to them, but otherwise they didn’t have a problem with Taylor herself. So I infer that some people don’t like Taylor Swift because some of her fans could be obnoxious(not directing this at anyone) people could think that Taylor’s music makes them like that. But, I do like her music!

It's kinda the same reason that people don't like Demon Slayer. A lot of people don't have a good reason, they just don't. It's shallow

i don't really hate her, but i'm not really a fan of like... the attention/glorifying people give to celebrities, and for taylor swift in particular, people focus on her so much and talk about her so much that hearing her name just makes me a bit exhausted lol

her music isn't my thing, i tend to listen to pretty niche stuff, so overall her stuff doesn't appeal to me and i have no real opinion of any news that comes out

I don't particularly care for her music, but I don't hate her, either. Basically, I have no strong opinion of her.

I don't know why she is as popular as she is, but it doesn't matter to me. Anyone hugely popular is always going to have haters, though. Some hate due to genuine dislike, others for questionable reasons (like thinking it's "cool" to hate on someone/something).
The extremeness of the lengths to which some people go to be fans or haters is not something I can even begin to understand.
