What's that one special NPC, that you want to romance?

During my first playthrough, before understanding that villagers were sorted in two categories (marriage candidates/the others), I believed that Caroline would be a nice partner for my character. I still think this.

As for male NPC, Marlon and Willy would make interesting ones. I love Linus as a character, but I don't think he would like to engage.

Or at least talk to him as more than just a non-giftable character, I just think he's neat.

As for guys, Marlon or Willy seem like they would be interesting, but definitely, above all, the guy who mans the "Smashing Stone" attraction from the stardew valley fair.

I have to go with Marnie as well. She is much closer to my actual age then all of the bachelorettes and I really dig her personality.
