PlayStation Unsure what just happened but a Bat attacked me in broad daylight.

A bat attacked around 7:40PM on Sunday 7th of my 3rd year. Any idea what may have happened?

the daylight hadn't left yet so I'm confused
usually it waits a while before they start to appear

I think no matter when it actually get dark, nightfall is defined as 6 or 7 pm. You can also get night fish (like bream or eel) at that time.

I'm pretty sure the monsters don't come out till 8:00 PM by nature so the bat shouldn't have appeared. didn't do all that much damage but it happened none the less & if it's a bug they could at least check it out & see if it could be a bigger issue then it seems. Never risk the effectiveness of a game's story. if something is off you should check & if nessisary fix it.
