He puts them back in his cellar? Interesting...I do also return them to Lewis first and get the reward from him, but who says you have to leave it in his cellar? I usually get it back as a tackle for the advanced Iridium rod

I never understand the way some people loathe some characters. Like, sure, I don't *like* Pierre or Lewis or Pam much, but they're not that unlike real people with real people foibles that I know. They're.. Tolerable. I can't bring myself to spend energy hating on them or playing in ways that lead to nasty outcomes (making the governor sick with shorts or refusing to buy from the shop closer to home*)
* I AM planning a future run where I will only frequent his shop/house to gift villagers or get a bouquet, but it's a "don't buy seeds or ingredients from ANYONE" challenge, not a "Pierre is the Devil and I will not support him" run.
