Windows The game only works in "compatibility mode"

Hi! I have the latest version of the game on Steam, and when I start the game (without SMAPI and with it too), it says "game started" for a couple of seconds, and then crashes. no windows appear. The game is only runs in the "compatibility mode", however, I want to play with mods. is there any solution for this problem?

I've done all the points from "Troubleshooting guide", i've updated all drivers and reinstalled game. My PC is 64x, Windows 10. I have GTX 1660 Super, AMD Ryzen 7 5700x

I've been having the same problem. I tried updating everything, restarting, uninstalling and REinstalling, literally nothing has worked. Would love to hear it if anyone has any idea how to fix this. I've been trying on a new microsoft surface pro 11, after replacing the sp 7 I'd been using for years.

literally yesterday I upgraded my system from windows 10 to windows 11 and everything worked for me. Did it help you switch from 7 to 11?
