When I open stardew on steam, it takes 10 minutes longer to open than it should usually. (usually being about 5 seconds). When pressing load, it crashes the game and stops responding. I thought it was my save file so I removed it from my files but now when I press "new" it freezes, stops responding then continues after about 15 seconds. When trying to use the color sliders it freezes and sometimes stops responding. If I don't bother with the sliders and just create the save then the game stops responding and closes. I've had this issue before and I found when I restarted my computer and reinstalled the game it helped, but it keeps coming back.
I don't use mods or anything else; Completely vanilla game. I have tried looking at other forums and websites to see if anyone has the same issue but I can't find anything that helps. Right now I can't do anything on the game. thanks.
