Reaction score disappeared!

I have no idea what just happened, but when I just opened up the forum again, my reaction score was completely gone, it's at zero for some reason, and I had around 526-8 reactions

Could a staff member help me please? (and thank you!)

The reaction score it's not a meaningful number, it's the friends we made along the journey...
Nah I'm joking, dunno, that's strange, I could figure it out but I don't know how the forums works exactly. If you keep posting interesting stuff you will have my positive reaction for sure

Hi, i've been in and out so it's why there hasn't been anything yet, but we disabled reaction scores on purpose due to some complaints about spam (this is a temporary change and reactions will go back to normal eventually, i don't believe the actual scores are lost, we're having internal conversations about the system). I'm about to make a full announcement about this, sorry for any panic or inconvenience this caused

Failed attempt at hijacking imo, but they can go play their little games elsewhere. It's kinda sad imo, but everyone needs a place to belong, right? Myself? I just ignored them so the spam wouldn't show up on my alerts

Respectfully, we're not gonna gatekeep who can join the forums and everyone is welcome here, so long as they follow rules. Spam is always a concern, but let's not alienate and talk bad about people like they can't read these messages

I wasn't expecting gatekeeping to be done for them, but I do think it was a bit immature. I'm used to it though, and was bemusedly watching them and ignoring their spam when I felt I needed to

Ok to be clearer, I'm saying your comments were gatekeepy in nature ("those guys" vs "us") and let's stop talking like no one can read them please. It's unwelcoming, unnecessary, and now it's taking this topic off track
