Thinking about this particular topic it's kinda difficult, every option has its pros and cons, but I have some ideas 
:
1. Daily Reaction Limit (I know, I know, the least wanted; but also the most effective considering the "activity" on the forums)
***Limit the total number of reactions a user can give per day (e.g., 30–50).
***Prevents mass-spamming likes in a short period.
2. Per-User Cooldown
***Restrict giving more than X likes to the same user within 24 hours.
***Discourages mutual boosting between small groups.
3. Weighted Reactions
***Make likes from active/reputable users count slightly more than likes from brand new or inactive accounts.
***Complex and it can be kinda "unfair".
4. Pattern Monitoring (Effective but with the most efforts xd)
***Regularly review the reaction logs to detect suspicious high-percentage mutual liking and act accordingly.
***I can monitor, I'm always watching (just a joke, I'm kidding, don't consider this as a serious proposal, but it can be serious if you want xd).
5. "Quality Likes"
***Keep the “like” button but only count for the score those that come from a set of validated actions (e.g. posts with a certain minimum number of words, or likes from different users).
***Keeps the social part and protects quality metrics but complex,
And I have some "reactions proposals" that I think are pretty straight-forward:
1. Interesting (Isn't necessarily for something you like or support, but for something that brings your attention)
2. Likewise/Me too (Just to remark you share/support the same idea)
3. Helpful (You find the idea/post useful)
Only these, I have others but they are negative and, I don't know, I think they aren't suitable for this forum, I like places where you can express your discomfort about something, but implementing "negative reactions" could lead to uncivilized behavior for some members (We can't have nice things thanks for this kind of people -_-)
Of course any kind of feedback or discussion is naturally welcome. That's all I have, have a wonderful day people
