Xbox Items not showing in collection after I’ve already found them

I’m not sure if anyone else is having this issue as I haven’t seen anyone post about it; I was looking at my collections and noticed some items I’ve already collected/made aren’t showing up. I.e. iron bars, gold ore, iridium ore, midnight carp, other items. I make iron, gold, and iridium bars often and have definitely caught a midnight carp but they aren’t showing in my collections! Not a huge deal, but curious if this is happening to anyone else

I’m also on Xbox and haven’t seen this yet. Maybe I’m preaching to the choir here but rather than just collecting it you have to also sell it.

it’s so strange because that’s what I thought but then I caught my first octopus today and it showed up in my collection without my selling it (I put it in my fish tank)… maybe that’s the bug?

you have to ship the items in „items shipped“ through the shipping box, selling them at the shops doesn’t count.

you have to find the items in the „minerals“, „artifacts“ and fishing tabs.

you have to cook the items in the cooking tab.

so making metal bars is not enough, you have to sell them too. You should get the fish as soon as you have caught them though. Can you provide screenshots?
