I don't know if this is the right spot to post thing but i accidentally threw away my galaxy sword, i was preparing to go to skull cavenrs and whe preparing my inventory i accidentally threw away my galaxy sword. I dont want to spend 50,000 to get a new one from marlon.

I am able to reset the day but i did a lot of grinding on moss and fiber so I want to see if theres another way to save my sword witout losing my grind.

If its a easy fix I apologize, I'm just getting back into the game after a while.

edit: seeing there is no way to do it (and I don't think the item id works on switch because ive tried and it didnt work) i just restarted the day, thank you for replying!

i do not like the galaxy hammer but i have it

If your question is to find a legit and free way for the game to give you your Galaxy Sword back, the answer is no.
Therefore, you have two options to get your lost Galaxy Sword.

The legit-but-not-free one is to buy a new Galaxy Sword from Marlon, but it seems you've already ruled that one out.

The free-but-not-legit one is to trick the game into generating a new one for you. There are a couple options to do this, but the easiest one, like our always helpful @Lew Zealand advised, is to go to Marnie, buy a chicken from her and when you are prompted for the new chicken name, enter [(W)4] (with all parenthesis and brackets) and a new Galaxy Sword should then appear in your inventory (assuming you have one free slot in it). You can then keep your new chicken or sell it.

Note that this free-but-not-legit method is willingly let available by ConcernedApe, though this is not considered as fair play by some players.

I personally don't count it as fair play. Just take the L dude it's a crappy situation but I've lost prismatic shards and a bunch of hardwood this way.

Galaxy Hammer is op as hell. I don't use the sword at all after getting the hammer.

If Concerned Ape allows it then it’s not cheating in my mind. If he said don’t do it then that’d be cheating. It’s not like you didn’t pick one up naturally already. Even if you did, if he allows it then it’s not cheating,
