Mac Game Won't Open [Steam] [Mac]

When I click "Play" through Steam it looks just like the game is opening and then the Steam button says "Stop" which implies that the game is open. However, it did not open the game. I've looked at other forms about this but they are all for PC and with slightly different problems.

I have attached screenshots of Terminal, my "Application Support/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Stardew Valley" folder, and my Stardew Steam page a few seconds after clicking "Play".

For those with the same problem I fixed it with this guide:

In Steam do the following:

1. Click on Library.
2. Click on Installed.
3. Right-click on Stardew Valley.
4. Select Properties.
5. Click on the Local Files tab.
6. Click Verify Integrity of Game Cache.
