Been playing Stardew over the past couple of weeks completely fine, no issues at all, until one day the game decided to refuse to launch no matter what. Pressing play, goes blue showing the normal cancel/stop button then goes back to green/play, nothing happens every time. No updates to windows or anything had happened to change things either.
The error log shows "failed to create graphics device"
I've tried updating drivers, updating windows, verifying game files, reinstalling the game, running it as administrator, disabling full screen optimisations, restarting the laptop, setting the game to run on high performance GPU.
Absolutely nothing so far has helped and looking through the forums doesn't seem to actually have a solid consistent answer considering the amount of threads over the years with the exact same issue. Any help would be appreciated.
