Linux Enabling Hardware Cursor Harms Controller Support

There appears to be a poor interaction between "Use Hardware Cursor" and controller support. I like having Hardware Cursor enabled as I am more used to pointing with my regular cursor rather than the themed one. But it appears that the controller support works by sometimes warping the software cursor around which doesn't do anything if "Use Hardware Cursor" is enabled.

I think ideally the software cursor would still show up when using the controller or there would be some other focus indication.
