yes there is a one button option for capturing screenshots and if you hold it down, you can capture the previous 30 secs of video. Which is what I do when I miss something then go back and do with it what I will. This is how I cheated my way thru a certain musical/pattern puzzle on whompwhomp isle.
I've captured some epic moments in BOTW too.
I must say getting pics from the Switch to the computer takes a bit of a finagle.But once I learned it's not a problem now.
