Upgraded the house for the first time. Moved the preserve jars into the new shed, the last building to be constructed in year 1. Bought the wood for both of those, and made preserve jars with what I had. Finally used up all the roe I got from the squid fest and night market. Of the 4 legendary fish I've caught, only the Glacierfish is without a pond, and the other three have been fairly generous with their roe. My kegs, all 5 of them, have been kept busy making pale ale and then beer all of Fall and Winter.
Bought the recipe for the fish smoker, and spent a few days fishing for a cave jelly to make one. Then completed the first raccoon quest. I accidentally turned the first tuna into the maki rolls I made for the community center. At least it wasn't my only tuna, and better the tuna than one of the lava eels I had in my backpack.
For once I remembered to make strawberry seeds in time, and plant coffee beans on day 1 of Spring. I usually forget at least one of the two. Also tried to not go overboard with how many seeds I bought, having been used to having larger fields. Still had quite a bunch of seeds left for the second planting. The two harvests I've had of my ancient fruit plant both turned into 3 seeds, which will help me fill the greenhouse sooner. So, yeah, I don't see much need for kegs yet, even if I'm gathering the materials to make them. Well, apart from wood since it's also needed for so many other things, so it's difficult to say what I'm gathering wood for. I ran out of fibers in Winter from making tree fertilizer.
Remembered to put out milk before the Winter Star festival. Too bad rice pudding, the only kind of porridge we can make, doesn't get the same response. Porridge is the traditional gift for Santa in Sweden. Well, it was originally a gift for the mythical farm helper, then society changed.

And then tells you, that she goes to warm up in the Saloon. But yeah, I know what you meant...

)Then figured it was time to make a shed for the kegs too. The small sheds are laid out so it will be easy to make them look neat once they're upgraded, but before then they look rather awkward. Should plant a lot more trees if I want to fill the small sheds any time soon. Have been slacking off on that. On the other hand, the trees at the bus stop have been busy producing oak resin. I was lucky enough to get only oaks added from the green rain.
