And Marlon and gil feels like a couple lolYeah I wish he was a candidate. But he's definitely in his late 40's and probably married.

I can see gals who like older men being attracted to Marlon but come on Gil is like 95 and pretty sure he's also disabled. There perfect for each other. And Marlon and gil feels like a couple lol
:0 I always imagine them being partners!I can see gals who like older men being attracted to Marlon but come on Gil is like 95 and pretty sure he's also disabled. There perfect for each other.

bros a opposite meAlso, you'll never convince me to play a girl or be gay.

They should make it possible that would be funny. If it were possible I’d change my answer to “anyone but krobus” ts hilariousI'd never have Krobus as a room mate again and definitely never marry him if it was possible.
She's the most stereotypical blonde hot bully who gets redeemed possible.None. Married them all to get portraits and see the cut scenes, and get heart event items.
Marrying Haley was the most cringeworthy by far.
I forget Maru exists but Harvey is memorable and definitely marriage material. Elliot is kind of a bum and really he's not in my opnion a stable marriage candidate. Unless your farmer is also a bum.Harvey and Maru bc I forget they exist most the time, and when I DO remember, I don't think of them as spouse people. Also Alex and Shane, I just don't like them. Elliott for both reasons

Still doesn't change that he's unemployed and a bum. Broke too.WE BELIVE IN View attachment 33863 SUPREMACY!!!!
If money is your only investment, then you are poorer than you'll ever know.Still doesn't change that he's unemployed and a bum. Broke too.
Yeah but at least you don't have to live in a shack. If money is your only investment, then you are poorer than you'll ever know.
-I forgot who
Tell that to LinusYeah but at least you don't have to live in a shack.

This was already debated in another thread, but I'd like to remind that it is not clear that Shane falls back into alcoholism and depression once married. There are indeed a few quotes implying he drinks alcohol once married, but there are also quotes stating he is thankful for his new life. Moreover, there is no quote stating that he totally stops alcohol consumption before marriage, only that he cut down on a bad habit. Like most character arcs or lores in Stardew Valley, Shane's character evolution is open to player's interpretation, on purpose.II don’t like how Shane goes back to alcoholism right when you marry him, but I might marry him for a Joja run or something. I always forget about Penny because she never goes to the Saloon and doesn’t really stick out at festivals, but I still will marry her eventually. (Also why does everyone keep saying Emily and Haley are bad options!?!?)
A funny thing about Emily is that we consider her a bit of an esoteric because of her interest and knowledge of different stones, plants and meditation. Which is the typical esoteric stuff in our world. However, she exists in a world, where all of this esoteric stuff is not only a reality, but the effects are proven and measureable. Which makes her more of a doctor/scientist in that particular world..
However, I don"t understand why some dislike Emily, even considering her "new age" vibe. She is one of the most kind, caring and positive NPCs in Pelican Town.
