1.6 Update What happened in your game today?

Working through Spring Y4 now, got my first mastery in this game, chose Farming for getting Animal Crackers to level up my Legendary Fish ponds. Have quite a huge farn Plantage now, roundabout 20 trees and still growing, gives a good money every couple of days. And I collect bananas to build the Island Obelisk, still have a few Walnuts to find. After that have to save Money for the Return Scepter to zzzaaaapppp up the farm life. It's the night before the anual Egg Hunt and I'm up to beat Abby once again... Think we'll not become BFFs in this game if I go on like that 😏

Ended up trading my jades and rubies and hurried down from about the 90th floor. Maybe I spent a little too much time gathering hardwood from the forest floors. As a bonus from that quest, I reached the goal for killing rock crabs, and gathered enough hardwood for another batch of mushroom logs. Still haven't filled up the grove with them. Contemplating making some more dehydrators too. Though with 16 dehydrators already, I should make a shed for them first.

Went back to playing before posting this. Made that shed and remembered to pick up the dehydrators and put them in the shed a few days after it was built.

The main thing that keeps me from building obelisks, is the lack of iridium bars. A little over two weeks separates me from a steady supply of no-effort iridium. The banana trees have started to bear fruit and I've got enough of all the other ingredients, and enough money for 2-3 obelisks. I guess I should make a Skull Cavern run if I get a day with really good luck.

Iridium is a pain to find. Skull Caverns in general tbh. Too much planing.

I don't think I will be able to achieve the required points. But three years is a lot of time so maybe.
You can pick the ones with the most points, you don't have to get all.

I usually go for money, friendship, skills and the two keys. Since I mostly don't complete the CC until Year 3 the others have to do 😇

I'm not gonna be able to complete CC as I'm gonna go Joja but friendship and skills are simple enough. Bribe sebby with Sashami and also George with leeks.

I've never reached year 3 without getting 4 candles lit on Grandpa's grave. *checks up the wiki and does the math* I should be at 17/12 points this save, missing out on only the marriage and achievment/collection points.

Made an attempt to reach floor 100 of Skull Cavern without using staircases. Not enough holes, despite going on a good luck day, equipping the lucky ring I found, and boosting my luck with food. Ended up somewhere around the 70th floor before 2 am. Did get a dino egg out of it though, so it went into the incubator. Now I only need the dino to lay an egg and find a prehistoric skull to complete the museum. Maybe best to bring a few treasure totems to the quarry to look for that skull.

That run let me get enough iridium bars to build the Island obelisk, much helped by two monsters droping iridium bars. No more having to take the ferry from Willy's back room, saving me some time. Over on the island I got note #10 and the ostrich egg (now set to incubate). The walnut from that also allowed me to pay for the parrot express. Now it's just the bridge in the volcano left, and I won't even have the opportunity to get that until I manage to reach the forge. Then again, I also need to find the walnuts to pay for it, so it's a later problem any which way.

I spent the rest of Spring collecting resources for the Island Obelisk and finally got it. Chose Foraging as my second mastery and planted six mystery trees, so my Meadowlands Farm more and more becomes a Forest one... And danced the Flower Dance with Elliott this year. Have only one piece left to find for Professor Snail to get the Ostrich Incubator, but still have to find an Ostrich Egg, too. Finally found the last missing Artifact, so the Museum is also finished. Productive time so far, now I'm looking forward for Summer, maybe find some time for a beach Party ☺

I stopped procrastinating and got my butt up. Got to level 30 in the mines and also crafted myself two more furnaces. Hoarded a bunch of stuff but I finally donated everything to the museum. Sold the cauliflower seeds. I named my pet cat Pantera.(Yes I just got a pet cat. I'm extremely lazy so still on like day 12.) I finished the bug part of the monster hunting quests. Planted 37 strawberries so $$$$$$$$$ is coming soon. I have about fifteen cooper bars in storage so I will upgrade my tools as soon as I get my money. I'm probably gonna buy a Joja membership as soon as I get my money as well. My skill levels are 2 for farming 3 for mining 2 for fishing and 4 for combat. I'm gonna build myself a few more chests eventually and reorganise my furnaces.

The ostrich and dino hatched, in that order, despite having been placed in the incubators the other way around. And a week into Spring, I realized I'd forgotten to plant any coffee beans. Maybe I should plant some on Ginger Island instead, and be able to harvest them year-round. Just one quality sprinkler's worth though.

Picked up the Qi fruit quest, so now I'll be running around trying to grow enough of those all of the remaining 3 weeks of Spring. Guess much of my iridium will go to make sprinklers for Ginger Island to grow them.

I never did that one so far, always sounds so stressfull... If it wasn't for some useful things from his walnut shop, I would ignore this guy completely.

Its alright if you have an empty field and no tasks you need to do ASAP. I'm so lucky I just got it on the first of winter. I usually cut down a bunch of trees, crack a geodes i hoard up specifically for that and naturally get some from other sourses. Then it's just the matter of planting, harvesting, putting everything into seed maker and repeating till you sell all 500.
I heard fishing for treasure chests is a good way to get the beans but never tried myself

Maybe that's the thing, I usually have a lot more interesting things to do than to please Mr. Qi... Just do the easier ones, cooking or prismatic quest or giving loved gifts to everyone. And Dangerous mines for the resources 😎
