Rancher
Today, I got the very last item I needed to complete my item collection on my year 52 farm.

What's left now?
I'm going to combine rings into every combination possible. By my math, there are 378 ring combos. This may prove too much for me, as a few of these rings are tough to come by.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need more Cinder Shards. ^.^

I’ve been playing for years, but today I successfully convinced my “only sport video games” fiance to try SDV!! He loved it! hehe😈

He ran into Elliot, my husband and said: Ooh so this is Elliot… I’ll have to talk to him some more, so I can get to know him better.😆

Anyways, I maybe have created a monster and I’m excited to play multiplayer now.

It’s only day 4, and he’s met everyone and put his parsnip in the ground. I’m patiently having to let him explore and make mistakes and not let the psychotic way I play get in the way, lol.

Meeting EVERYONE on day 4 is insane. I never get around to doing that lol.

I'm trying to work on getting the last 3 monster eradication goals, all of them in the Skull Cavern, but have been sidetracked by one or two Danger in the Deep quests. Jumped on them more to get more radioactive ore, and the other quest option was worse. The other option I remember was Qi's Cuisine. I'd rather traipse down the mine once again than having to buy a lot of ingredients and then have the cooked food earn back about 50-60% of the cost. Cooking food is okay when I have a stash of home-grown ingredients to use, but I haven't built up one since the first time I did that quest.

I have been hoping for the quest that unlocks the dangerous Skull Cavern, but so far I haven't seen it after drinking that snake milk. Picked up another grange quest this week, which pretty much just need me to visit some of my chests and bringing the stuff over if I want to complete it. A lot better than the Junimo Kart quest, since I'd be more likely to throw my phone into the wall in frustration than succeed that quest.

It's fall now and I got my third mastery. Chose Mining this time, build the Dwarf King Statue and had a few "booombastic" Mine-Runs, since I love the "Bombs can not damage you"-blessing 🥰. Crafted two more mystic trees and tapped them. Played Dart with the Pirates for the first time ever, but wasn't successfull yet. But it's more fun than playing Simon says in the Crystal Cave. And I finally proposed and married Elliott on his Birthday, so I hope he'll remember our anniversary in the future (I know the spouses don't do, anyway). If happy, he really has a silver tongue ☺ and he gave me the stardrop fruit right after the wedding, 'cause I gifted him a stardrop tea. Now I'm looking forward to see where this will lead to...

Maybe, but I think it's cheaper to keg your own coffee or store it in advance. Same to the Wheat Flour for bread.
I get it. my current farm is designed around sustainable cooking using whatever random ingredients I find. so far fiddlehead risotto made with fresh golden garlic and sunflower oil is one of my go-tos for cooking for profit, but maki rolls are a solid source of income too, as they're more profitable than sashimi if you grow your own rice

I'm only doing it to become independent from Pierre. I don't like him very much, just as much as I don't like Joja. It's enough that I always have to buy seeds; I can't produce the quantities I need myself. But I buy a lot at the night market. I'm trying to do as much as possible on my own (rice, sugar, flour, vinegar, oil, hay...), saves money, mostly 🤓

we can make our own vinegar now?
I'm glad I don't have any of my regular recipes that require vinegar, but mass producing garlic has been rewarding for me, both monetarily and also bc I just love cooking. I'm kinda slacking on recipes this time around tho, as I haven't befriended everyone yet nor have I made it to evil parrot Island yet. damn drones.

but yeah I seed all my garlic and then cook the rest. I need some mystic tree seeds tho, so for now my risotto journey is on hiatus. need to find other things to cook >.> I got a steady supply of pepper poppers tho, so I suppose that will have to do for now, until I can start a parsnip patch next spring.

So yeah, this is my kitchen (every fridge has a purpose, don't ask lol). The fridge up top is where I put all my for profit ingredients, but having the seedmakers right there is really handy. oh also leah is pregnant, and I have no idea what I'm gonna do with the kids room yet D;
