Ever since the update that came out a few minutes ago, whenever I get Clint to break open a Artifact Trove the game immediately crashes just before he cracks it open !

Same!! It’s so annoying especially when I do all my harvesting and petting and routine tasks before I go visit Clint.

I am currently experiencing a bug which makes the game crash.

Every time I try to open an artifact trove at Clint's shop, the game shuts down and an error text saying "An unexpected error has occurred" appears. I had to re-start the same day 4 times, I repeated the action each time I re-started the game to ensure it's the root of the problem. I tried opening some magma geodes and mystery boxes and there were no issues.

I play on OLED, the crash happens both in docked and handheld mode.

I am playing v 1.6 15 build 2 on the switch and I am having the same exact problem. Only when I'm trying to open the artifact troves will my game crash at the blacksmith.

I play with the switch controllers.

The devs are aware of this issue and it should be fixed soon. Please avoid opening artifact troves for the time being.

Made an account just to say this is an issue in my switch game too. Game has crashed three times since I have updated this morning. Whenever I see Clint and try to open an Artifact Trove, game crashes out. I also noticed this issue within the Adventurer Guild (see image below). I don’t think this is supposed to happen either lol. Just came here to say I’m having the same issue-game crashing when opening artifact troves only.

My mom was playing and she used the artifact trove the first time it would crash her game. It is the most recent version for Switch (sorry I don't have the number on hand).

This happened the moment I updated the switch for bugs. It fixed the gift giving issue but I’ve also noticed certain text are coded wrong. Like when you go to check how many monsters you have slain it reads as code. Same with some in game text. That’s all I’ve noticed so far

Just came across this bug as well, the first time it had me send a report for the crash and auto closed the game. I tried a second time and it crashed again, just a screen saying “an error occurred”. It’s for version 1.6 also on switch

Been dealing with this same issue. Every time I try to open a trove the whole game crashes. Tried even waiting a few days and still same thing. Have pretty much stopped using Clint in my current game because of this.

My game has crashed 3 separate times from trying to open Artifact Troves. I have tried different days in game and irl and restarted my Nintendo Switch, but no improvement. I seem to be able to open everything else at the blacksmith. The game is updated to v1.6.15 build 2.

Is anyone having problems with going to visit Clint at the Blacksmith? Because last couple times I’ve tried going in to have Clint crack open a geode for me the game glitches, tells me there’s an error, and then boots me out. I also just had it recently update, so I wonder if that’s the issue?

I’m also having this issue. I didn’t have it with any other geodes or the mystery boxes, just this. I’ve also experienced the same issues with text when looking at the list in the guild and talking to Pierre. I don’t have any pictures of that.
