Art Fishing in Games ❤️

I love fishing in video games and Stardew Valley has to be my favorite fishing mechanic so far.

What are some of your favorite games to fish in?

Ps: can you guess where all of them are from (some are ocs)

I love the Link and Animal Crossing ones!

My favorite game to fish in has got to be Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Does the diving in that count as fishing? I loved the diving, too. lol

Yup, you can get different monster hats from this one merchant and I like to wear the lizard one when I collect fish

I didn’t know you could fish in twilight princess, another reason for me to play the game eventually :D

It is on the tip on my tongue but flies away suddenly.

I completely forgot about fishing in Terraria. One of my favorite things to do was create "fishing holes" in each biome, and then decorate them and make them look really unique and interesting. Like an ice fishing hut in the snow biome, a cabana in the ocean biome with a long pier, etc.

I'm just generally a fan of any and all fishing activities in every game that has them. (Shout out to the new Fantasy Life game coming out soon with an Angler job!)

The one in a purple hat is my Skyrim character, he’s a argonian (lizard person)

I would have drawn him fishing too, but I ran out of room on the river bank

Fishing is not financially as beneficial as brewing wine or juice.
But the experience is good.

At first I hated the fishing part in SDV, but now I LOVE it! I was able to finish the community center because of it! Side note: hate the fact that you spend so much time into the building and then the villagers do nothing with it

The last two are OC’s so they’re a bit tricky. I’ve already said the purple hat is from Skyrim so a hint for the other is to look at the fishing rod and fish :)

I wish they would add a little more to the community center too. Maybe a special store or something?
