Web Apps: Stardew Checkup, Predictor, and Fair Helper

just tried it on my phone, they work with tap. The hint will stay open until I touch the screen again.

I tried it again and it doesn’t work on my iPad with Safari and the latest OS. It does work on my iPad in Chrome.

interesting, I rarely use Safari but just checked (on iPhone, not iPad) and it works for me.

That will happen when the app fails to parse the save file. If you could send me a copy of the save (attach here or DM is fine) I'll take a look

EDIT: I also finally added an explicit error message to the app for this situation although knowing what that error is and/or seeing the save that triggers it will be necessary for fixing.

Hello, thank you for these great tools! I just learned about them today but unfortunately get the same error as spuckett when trying to use the predictor.

I was just being lazy with the pepper rex slayer goal but thought it might be useful to share anyway.

Long ago I wrote some web apps that some people have found useful. They have recently been (mostly) updated for Stardew 1.6 and this topic is a place where you can provide feedback, bug reports, and suggestions if you try them out. All of them work in a similar way -- open up your save in the browser (javascript required) and they will process it and give results.

Stardew Checkup -- Achievement and Collection progress. Fully updated for 1.6

Stardew Predictor -- Simulates some game random rolls to "predict the future" on your save. Fully updated for 1.6

Stardew Fair Helper -- Helps you pick a winning Grange display. Manually entry is not yet updated for 1.6 but the "read your save and pick best display" functionality should still work with 1.6 saves.

I think this counts as a bug report, but I've noticed a few inconsistencies from the predictor results:

Prize tickets: so far, numbers 2,3,7,12 were different; #2 being an apple sapling instead of the predicted orange sapling, for example.
Mystery boxes: 1 through 10 were different from predicted; from 11 is accurate.

This is a bit late but the fruit tree in the prize machine is based on what season it is. If its spring it will be an orange/peach Tree. If its summer an apple/pomegranate tree and in fall and winter it will be an apricot/cherry tree.

I was trying to use the predictor for my save on console by using the ID but my seed is 0963371 and if you type that in once it loads you get the prediction for 963371 anyone know how I can get that to work?

Hi, so i can't use the stardew checkup in my pc. The site takes forever to load, and when it finally works, it goes to the lite version. I can upload the save file, but it just won’t load—it keeps loading forever. I don’t think it’s my PC since every other site works fine except this one. It’s not my internet either because the site works on my phone… Anyway, I really love the site and would love to access it properly!

Game version 1.6.14
I noticed that the geodesCracked variable is no longer detected correctly and always defaults to 0.
In the save file, it is recorded as GeodesCracked (with the upper case first letter.)
This save file was created recently, in November 2024, though I'm not sure which game version it was created on.
I edited the save file to geodesCracked (lower case first letter) instead, and the predictor worked as expected.

Line 3483 of stardew-predictor.js could be changed to accommodate either case.

Just noticed one tiny error and wanted to let you know. Was looking at the predictor for bookseller info. Noticed the link to the wiki for Book of the Stars does not work. Looks like its just titled Books of Stars without 'the' in the title.
