Web Apps: Stardew Checkup, Predictor, and Fair Helper

Long ago I wrote some web apps that some people have found useful. They have recently been (mostly) updated for Stardew 1.6 and this topic is a place where you can provide feedback, bug reports, and suggestions if you try them out. All of them work in a similar way -- open up your save in the browser (javascript required) and they will process it and give results.

Stardew Checkup -- Achievement and Collection progress. Fully updated for 1.6

Stardew Predictor -- Simulates some game random rolls to "predict the future" on your save. Fully updated for 1.6

Stardew Fair Helper -- Helps you pick a winning Grange display. Manually entry is not yet updated for 1.6 but the "read your save and pick best display" functionality should still work with 1.6 saves.

These seem really cool!! I'll definitely be using them in my save. Thank you for all your hard work!! :D

I love these tools and was so excited to see them updated for 1.6! However it looks like one of the new tools isn't in the enchanting table in Stardew Predictor.

The Advanced Iridium Rod gets the same enchant options as the Iridium Rod but they appear to be in a different order than the regular Iridium Rod.
According to the predictor I should get Fisher on my pan then master on my iridium rod. I do indeed get fisher on my pan but then get Auto-hook on the Advanced Iridium Rod (no enchant to begin with). I already have Master on my regular Iridium rod so maybe there is some strange interaction in the game? It is very confusing

The rod should not matter for fishing enchants (it is based on the order the enchantments are defined in the game code). If you can send me a copy of the save file I'll take a closer look.

I'm running into an issue with one of my save files on the Predictor tool, the loading bar is stuck on fully loaded, but nothing comes up. This same file loads fine on the Checkup tool, and my other save files load in the Predictor tool. But this particular one does not. Any idea what could be causing it and if there's something I can do to fix it?

That will happen when the app fails to parse the save file. If you could send me a copy of the save (attach here or DM is fine) I'll take a look

EDIT: I also finally added an explicit error message to the app for this situation although knowing what that error is and/or seeing the save that triggers it will be necessary for fixing.

Hi there, I was using the Stardew Checkup for the craft master / perfection achievements. From the Stardew Checkup it shows I am at 100% (crafted 149 and knows 149 of 149 base game recipes. ) , but in game it is saying 99% from Qi. I'm not sure if this could be a bug or not (or perhaps bugs from the game).

It is always possible that I missed something. Do you use any mods? Some of the perfection goals will dynamically adjust to recipes/items added by them. I can look a little further if you send me a copy of your save.

Thank you so much. Yes I have use multiple mods but I'm not sure which one could affect the crafting 100%. I have attached my save (btw I have purchased 1% perfection from Qi so I eventually got the 100% perfection achievement in the game, but the crafting was stucking at 99%)

Okay, it looks like the issue was an uncrafted mod recipe. When I load your save into the game, the crafting achievement immediately triggers and the only base game recipe uncrafted is the Wedding Ring which is multiplayer only.

I see! Thanks for checking! I will check my mods

So I checked again today and the issue went away :) It's odd but I did play a few more days of the save, maybe that changed something about it to make it parse properly? 🤔

Thank you so much for updating these tools so quickly!

I think this counts as a bug report, but I've noticed a few inconsistencies from the predictor results:

Prize tickets: so far, numbers 2,3,7,12 were different; #2 being an apple sapling instead of the predicted orange sapling, for example.
Mystery boxes: 1 through 10 were different from predicted; from 11 is accurate.

Thanks for the report. Can you send me a copy of your savefile? Can either attach here or DM.

Hi,
first thank you for updating the tools. I have started playing Stardew again and wanted some tools to get where I was in my last game with a new game so the tools are really helpful. I have been playing CalicoJack in the Casino with Stardew Predictor, a bit hit-and-miss.

For example, I am on the 20th day of Summer in Year 2. My Game ID is 370878122.
I am playing the 59th game. According to the tool I should stay at the initial 10 and I should win however in reality the dealer got 21 so he won.

What I noticed is that the problem is almost always with what the Dealer draws, because when I draw according to the tool everything checks out.

Maybe it is because I have Legacy RNG turned off, so I would like to know if it is because of that. Thank you for reading this. If there is any way I could help I would be happy to.

Thanks for report, I will take a look. It should work fine regardless of legacy RNG. Just to confirm, the predictor is giving you the correct starting hands in these cases? And is the dealer always getting 21 when the prediction is wrong or does it sometimes give wrong advice in other situations?
