Its kinda funny with Emily. They live in a world, where magic and all that stuff exists. Her whole color and stone stuff is not just some esotheric nonsense. Its based on facts. Which makes her less spiritual and puts her closer to an actual healer/scientist.

The thing to always remember about Alex, whether he's being Alpha wannabe to your male character or creepy to your female character, is that someone with the Farmer's functional strength can likely kick his gym-rat butt to Zuzu City and back.

I’ve mentioned several times on this forum that Gunther is my favourite NPC. I would readily marry him if he was dateable. Why? He’s an intellectual, and he’s damn good-looking.
My least favourites are Penny and Jodi, because they're the "poor mes" as someone already mentioned, and Jodi is kind of a tradwife. That's just not up my alley.
And, yes, I’ve come to hate Qi too. At first I thought he was cool because of that brilliant first quest, which really made you rack your brains. But ever since I’ve seen how he cold-heartedly sends players into life-threatening situations, whilst keeping the whole valley under high-tech surveillance, I couldn’t care less about him. Anything blue must be boycotted! (Except Emily’s hair, of course!)

I didn't know anyone disliked Gunther. You can't really interact with him very much, after all; he's just doing his job. He tells you about everything you bring to the museum, which includes some neat lore, and he rewards you with cool and useful stuff.

I can kinda see it. His utterance if you show up empty handed and interact is a bit off-putting. I still think he's better than Professor Snail who's all "It's mine! All mine! Good luck finding an Ostrich egg, suckah!" when his collection is completed.

Never really thought of Gunther as someone to like or dislike, with how little you can do with him. Still wish he was an actual character.
And I've seen theories.about Gunther actually stealing the whole collection to sell it (which he blames on a previous curator when you first meet him), which would be a reason to dislike him if it wasn't that big of a stretch.

Ohhhh, see, I forget to visit until I have something to donate, so I do not think I have seen that dialogue. (Like how I never encourage Pierre to punch Morris, so he gives an inspiring speech instead. And therefore while I think he's not that savvy and not my favorite villager, I don't think of him as a criminal.)

i can always track them down pretty easily, sebastion comes out of his room at 2:00 pm, so i just wait for him. Sam is either in his room, or literally nowhere to be found

Huh I thought he comes out later. Ig not. Demetrius and Maru are the ones who are nowhere to be found I check their usual spots, they aren't there, I give up. Sam I often find by the river hanging out near the house.

I am going to give a pretty hot take, I think the Governor and faceless Joja CEO are the biggest villains of the game. The Governor because he doesn't do anything with the poverty of Pelican Town and Towns similar to it, often enabling crooks like Morris, or just letting Pierre become a monopoly and make it unliveable. The faceless Joja CEO essentially turns Joja into a monopoly of Ferngill's entire industries. Joja Medical. Joja Mining. Joja Drilling. JojaMart. It's a world where beating Morris essentially means nothing because the farmer doesn't actually fix anything. They revive the CC but it turns into a dead zone that nobody really interacts with. And then the game basically forgets about the town and lets Ginger Islands and Mr. Qi hijack the rest of the story.
I get that Lewis is supposed to be the visible corrupt authority, but what does it say about the Governor that his only few lines is just him talking about purchasing a vacation home? Like brother, this town doesn't even have a proper school. Joja is fueling the rivers with soda cans. Pierre is basically price gouging and Morris just turns Ferngill's countryside into a corporate wasteland. And this guy has the audacity to talk about purchasing another freaking vacation home.
