Farmer Trixie married Sebastian. My farmers don't let spouses drop below 14 hearts. It's the easiest thing in the world. For Sebastian, all you need is a void chicken or a crystalarium pumping out frozen tears.
That said, he's my second least favorite. Even at high hearts he's kinda depressed and doesn't seem to be working on his freelance projects.
Trixie divorced him and erased his memory because she didn't think the marriage was doing him any good.

he suggests the slime hutch but if you ignore the suggestion nothing happens. (he also talks about getting one sometimes after you got one...) I think it sounds like you need to talk to your spouse, feed him sashimi, THEN skip the rest of the day.
