1.6 Update What happened in your game today?

Anlei got a four-candle evaluation, yay! Married to Sam with upgraded house, and almost full hearts with most folks. I already have about 5 prismatic shards (got a couple from very lucky but not-very-deep SC runs) but not enough cinder shards to do much enchanting. It's always the cinder shards that I need more of!

Got two coops and three barns, with mostly sheep that are sloooowly getting to full hearts so they'll produce wool every day.

On Wednesday I harvested some sunflowers from my mixed flower seed patch and replaced them with new seeds. I realised that the new fairy roses probably won't be ready before the end of the season. I started making oil from the sunflowers.
Then I went to ask Robin to upgrade my last barn. I had to buy some of the wood. I also bought the furniture catalog and a telephone. On the way home I checked out some of the new shortcuts around the valley and chopped down enough trees to make the last few beehouses I needed for Ginger Island.
I swapped the kegs on Ginger Island (only 17 at the moment) - one of them now has a pumpkin, because the raccoons wanted pumpkin juice. The rest are more starfruit wine. I harvested a field of starfruit and planted more seeds, and barely made it home in time.

Thursday was Marnie's birthday. The statue gave me a diamond, and it took me half a day to track her down to give it to her. I also made 8 more kegs for Ginger Island, made a start at cleaning out the auto-grabbers because I'd let things slide there. I harvested cranberries and some of my fruit trees, and managed to actually put speed grow on the flower seeds I planted yesterday, even though they already had tiny leaves. I hope it's enough.

The rest of the week was just more farm work. And cutting down trees. And now I find I'm once again running out of fiber.

Played two days. Ran around to harvest my crystalariums, mushroom logs and tappers on the first day, then I once again won the grange competition at the fair.

Wow! Congratulations! I'm still waiting for mine - 7 farms, each at least into year 5.

Meanwhile I've been finishing off Fall of Year 4.

On Monday I cleared all the auto-grabbers again. I replaced some of my flowers with fiber seeds, and planted two patches of fiber seeds on Ginger Island.
I spent Tuesday messing around with my new furniture catalog, then spent the afternoon and Wednesday morning killing skeletons for Clint's request.

On Thursday I planted more fiber seeds, cleared the auto-grabbers, made a few more kegs for Ginger Island and chopped some hardwood trees that I'd planted on the beach there and harvested my honey. In the evening I sold some surplus iridium bars and diamonds as well as all the animal products. I ended up making over 255,000 gold, so that was a good day.
On Friday I woke up with a new achievement for making 10,000,000 gold in total. I'm now, apparently, a Legend. I went down to Floor 100 of the Skull Cavern to get a few Qi gems - not that I need any, but it's something to do...

I spent Saturday fishing, did a shallow Skull Cavern dive (and died), spent the last Sunday of the season fishing some more. I now only need three more golden crackers for my current animals (provided none of them give birth in the coming days), and I've been lucky with the chests so far getting at least one cracker a day. Now that I've said that out loud, it probably won't happen again. LOL!!
The fairy roses made it just in time, thanks to the speedgrow.

Actually, I found a cracker in my golden mystery boxes. And two I had squirrelled away to make room in my inventory and then forgot about. So they're all crackered now!

Got one day further, and turned the kegs on Ginger Island over to a new cycle.

Caught Legend today, which finally polishes off the fish collection. This is the latest I've ever done it (spring Y4, I totally sprinted through Y3 ), simply because the first two winters I plum forgot to go catch the Glacierfish, sigh.

I do have almost all the shipping collection done, but it's been waiting and waiting ... and waiting... for the ostrich egg, because I want to incubate the egg I have, but I cannot for the life of me get a mummified bat for Professor Snail! I mean, I've broken probably a thousand stones in the volcano, with maxed luck, but it is eluding me, grarr!

I wasn’t sure what to do with it at first, but when I think of an attic, I imagine a secret hideout—a room where you can secretly do all sorts of things.
So I decided to turn it into a place where I can raise flamingos and let them live freely and raise their babies!

From this room, the flamingos will fly off to the town, the desert, and the island… 🦩

While completing a few Help Wanted requests, I also came across so many strange things—Kent standing in the river, Emily somehow stuck inside the counter, and Lewis getting caught in a fence… I’ve seen so many mysterious things lately!

The flamingos are so cute, so I gave them a whole room of their own.
It would’ve been even better if they had a pool, too!

Midst of Summer Y4 already and Malec's been pretty busy. First of all he danced with Maru at the Flower Dance and later gifted her a gold start strawberry for birthday. Later he got to see her so far biggest invention (I love Marus 10-heart-event) and got on Demetrius good side, too.
Malec didn't find 4 prismatic shards for Mr. Qi, but picked some other quests (cooking and danger in the deep) which he managed to do. Also succeded in running through the volcano dungeon to unlock the short entrance, finally he bought the last missing golden walnuts bc Mermaid, Cave Play and Dart are too annoying.
Also had Robin built the new house for P&P, but stayed anonymus, as my farmers always do.

Two more days played. Started another Extended Family quest and have caught 6 Legend 2 so far. One day left of that quest. The second day I had a lot less time for fishing as I needed to harvest mushrooms. At least that quest is a nice break in the routine, even if it feels difficult to find time for it.

I also need to find time to visit Clint and break a bunch of geodes, or build a bunch more geode crushers to keep on top of what I get from the statues of endless fortune.

Finally got a mummified bat, whew! Ostrich egg incubated and now have baby ostrich (which I think are the absolute cutest baby animals!) so just waiting for it to grow up and lay my egg for the shipping collection. And I'm missing just 3 walnuts, so I'll have to go ask the parrot where they are ... probably in volcano chests.

Got an Extended Family quest and was able to catch 4 Legend II in the first two days, which is enough to change over all my blobfish ponds, so I went ahead and caught the other four family fish on the last day (it helped to remember to bring seafoam pudding and a couple of curiosity lures with me, somehow I tend to forget to do that). Now I've got 40 blobfish ... I'll probably smoke at least most of them.

Still have a looong way to go with my animal crackers. The next 4 will go to the fishponds, but after that I think at least half my sheep don't have a cracker. I've got one barn with two pigs, six cows, a goat, and an ostrich (I'm uncertain what that mixed barn demographic will end up ... still thinking on it), but then 3 barns full of sheep. There is an awful lot of bleating going on when I'm walking around over in the animal area .
