This first part was yesterday, but it's worth mentioning: I gave a try to catching an Octopus for the Master Fisher's bundle, but gave it up when I saw I had no chance. I would simply go for Lava Eel and Blobfish instead.
Guess what I found in the next trash can I checked? Yep, an octopod.
Today, completed the rest of the CC apart from one iridium ore and a jack-o-lantern (Spirit's Eve is coming up in a few days).
Cleared my farm of everything except grass, which I will allow to spread until the last day of fall. I don't have any animals yet, apart from Toby the beagle and Roach the horse, but I have completed the Chef's bundle thanks to the traveling cart offering 5 truffles, the only animal product I needed for the CC, one day.
Reached 10 hearts with Maru, Demetrius, and Robin. I liked all of Maru's heart events, especially the 10 one.
Got my house upgraded to level 3, which, according to the wiki, means I will now get the best-quality supply crates.
I've found 4 ancient seeds so far, all of them from bugs. One bug even dropped two.
Cranberries are raking in some serious money. The sprinkler area is all cranberries apart from 8 corn and 3 pumpkins, but a lightning strike has killed one of the cranberry bushes despite my having like 15 lightning rods. Need to craft more...
I moved my crab pots from the mountain to my farm. I have enough snails for now, and it's a lot more convenient to have the pots nearby.
I had a recycling machine, the Field Research bundle reward, near the mines entrance, but when fall arrived, it was destroyed because Sebastian walked through it. Grr.
I now have five machines next to the crab pots. They are my only means of acquiring cloth, at least for now, which I'll need for a mill. Missing one or two at the moment.
I won first prize at the fair, by scraping together the best items I had around.
I planted a Rare Seed on Fall 1, but I'm not sure if I remembered to water my few sprinkler-less plants that day... I hope I did.
The visuals are different because I've installed the mod "daisyNiko's Earthy Recolour". It's fantastic!
