This is such a satisfying point to be at in the game, it really sounds like everything is clicking now. Hitting the bottom of the mines and getting animals going that early is a big win. The silo plan makes total sense too—nothing hurts more than cutting grass before you have one.

Today was a vegetal focused day:
- A big surprise was found in a bush above the playground:
- Another... ahem... dual "surprise" was found later in another bush:
Both Marnie and Lewis must know some of Wizard's teleporting spells, because a few minutes before, I was in the Mayor's Manor and he was clearly there and I also clearly saw Marnie leave the saloon and head to Cindersap Forest... Yet, both of them sprung out of the bush as soon as I shook it.
- I like to have seasonal flowers blooming in front of the farm house. I wondered how to get some during Winter and the answer was: crocus! This meant that I had to plant winter seeds and hope for them to grow as crocus. I used Hyper Speed-Grow and removed winter forages that were not crocus, replant new seeds until I got only crocus. By the end of Winter, the result was:

I ended on floor 720
I didn't use the slingshot, but, fun fact, I accidently threw away both my Galaxy Weapons somehow (I don't even know why I brought them).
We must be doing things very differently. I pause ALOT. In fact, basically every single floor, I pause TWICE. First I pause, then I un-pause, put a staircase down, and pause again. Very quickly of course. This let's me get a feel for my surroundings.
My general rule is, if there's 3 nodes right by me, I ignore them, and go down. That's right! 3 is not worth my time! 4 or more is the rule I went by, and apparently it worked. ^.^
So when I see 4 or more nodes within bombing range of each other, I put the bomb down, put a staircase down, wait for the bomb to go off, then PAUSE as the ore gets sucked in, then go down the stairs.

My 4th ostrich hatched and promptly got named Quarto. My previous save made me number them. The Primo thing was a random name, and then I latched onto it. Quarto then got fed a golden animal cracker like her mother, grandmother and (probably) great-grandmother. Since I put the base quality ostrich eggs in the incubator, it's usually one of their first eggs that gets used, so the lineage can be figured out.
Completed the museum collection. Last thing out: Opal. I accidentally sold the first one I got without looking to see if I had turned one in or not. Now there's only one stardrop left, and Willy has it. Scorpion Carp and Octopus left to catch before he'll give it to me.
Finally got my hands on some sturgeon roe. Missing bundle can go without it this save. I need it for my shipping list.
Used the Joja parrot to get the last 6 golden walnuts. Somehow managed to time it so Morris lay there "basking" in the rain.
Leah finally feels ready to adopt!
Almost a year after we got married. Now we just have to wait for the adoption agency to agree and find a suitable baby for us.

On Ginger Island. You need to first either restore the Community Center, or finish the Joja warehouse. On the island, you need to find at least 10 of the 11 journal scraps. They're found much like you find the secret notes. The 10th (4th and 6th are too but for other stuff) is a treasure map that lets you find an ostrich egg. You need to complete Professor Snail's collection in the tent to get the recipe for the ostrich egg incubator. You can also find ostrich eggs in rare treasure chests in the volcano dungeon there if you happen to use the first one for cooking or ship it.

Started my first Riverlands farm recently and was happy that it came with a free Fish Smoker! Quite a boon for a 25% profit farm ^.^
Day 3 I caught and smoked 6 Catfish, and left my Smoker beside a Chest that I placed in town by my river fishing spot.
I forgot all about it, and the Chest, until the night of the 5th, so the next day I went to collect them. UNFORTUNATELY my Chest was all alone SAM WHAT DID YOU DO?!

Caught one of those elusive octopi and got Willy's stardrop.
5th ostrich hatched, Quinto. Next one will be interesting to name, to see if I can use the actual word for six, or if I have to use creative spelling. My goat also gave birth, limiting my ostriches to 7 unless I sell one or two animals, or build a second barn.

And the adoption agency delivered the baby. I named him Ringo to keep with the fruit and tree theme of names. My farmer's named Olivia. I usually pick a theme for the children based around the farmer's name.

Today I reached 8 million! So clones to finally buying the Golden Clock and reaching Perfection!
I’m on Winter 20, Year 3. Never reached perfection before and It’s always because of the clock (I don’t like to sleep through the days and only waking up to sell wine, so it’s kind of a grind).
As soon as I reach perfection, I’ll start a new save in a Beach Farm. Can’t wait!
