right now sdv is my go-to game but ive always liked terraria a lot! (recently ive been aiming to get every single achievement in terraria but the fishing got super tedious so i'm taking a little bit of a break from it) i also sometimes play uno, 60 seconds, or project diva.

EDIT: Finished Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and been really into Pokémon games again. Still having a good time a year later:smile:

Alternatively, what else are you obsessed with?

I didn't expect to get obsessed with SDV all over again anytime soon. But 1.6 really interested me, and now I'm here.

Thanks to Persona 3 Reload, I'm into Persona again. I've never played Persona 5 Strikers so after I finished Reload I started to play that.

Will probably be playing Fallout 4 again thanks to the new gen update and the hype the show brought.

All in all I've been having a good time. What about this guys https://crazytime.com.bd/?
What an excellent list of games! I also enjoy revisiting Pokémon, especially when I need to unwind and catch some rare Pokémon - I even have some of the cartridges for old consoles that I have saved for years! In Stardew Valley, I tend to spend my time in the game when I am in the mood for something mellow and relaxing, tending crops, befriending neighbors, and building a modest farm is the ideal way to unwind after the day.

I've got an old save of Yakuza 6 where I'm two trophies off getting a platinum. They're a bit grindy but that's where I'm at right now.

Stardew lately, RDR2 on and off always, been playing thru the ps4 God of War's (struggling with the end of Ragnarok 😅), and Mad Max was before that.

Kinda wanna replay either Witcher 3 or maybe a Far Cry
All those games are fantastic. Before coming back to SV, I played RDR2 for the first time ever. And wow... What a marvellous game! The PS5 tells me I only spent about 370 hours to get through it 😂 But it was time well spent, or at least enjoyable. I love games like that with a strong story and good immersion. Get sucked into a game world and savour it. In RDR2, it was fun to just ride around, hunt a bit, maybe even fish, or sit around a campfire or enjoy the banter in camp.

Much the same with Witcher 3 (and the first one), which I have completed many times, also with mods that made it quite a bit more difficult.

Yes! I know everyone says this, but RDR2 is one of the best games of its generation for sure, if not of all time (maybe im a little biased 😅). Witcher 3 was amazing, took me literally 3 months to beat and I was doing every little tiny thing. Never played any of the others, I heard they're good, maybe a bit more complicated and less streamlined than W3 but I'd be willing to try them.

I'm always waiting for the next game that's gonna "wow" me, ya know what I mean

God of war was great, and I hadn't played any of those games before. Didn't enjoy Ragnarok as much, but still a good game. Same deal with Horizon Zero Dawn. First game was brilliant, and then I felt they took a step back in the second. Basically a senseless story, and way too much incessant comments and "help" from the main character. Wasn't allowed to figure out anything on my own. Eventually I actually just quit in frustration, so haven't finished it. Darn shame, cause I loved the first one, and replayed it only a few months ago. Some aspects of the combat was better in the second game, but the wespons were a mess, with too many upgrades.

RDR2 is right up there with Witcher 3 as one if the best games I've ever played. Will definitely replay it at some point. But after so many hours, I need a break 😅

Didn't know it sort of was a prequel, cause I didn't play the first one. Looking for a good sale, then will probably pick it up.

Totally different games, but I loved Hollow Knight. And who knows, any decade now the next game will come out! 😂

Argh I loved the balance of HZD, even to some extent it's simplicity of managing all of Aloy's things compared to something like Skyrim (which just hasn't "clicked", maybe some day). IMO HZD is close to a perfect game (for me) and it's disappointing that HFW might stray from that but also not too surprising. I've heard criticisms and also lauding so we'll see how it goes when it releases at DRM-free at gog.com though I'm losing hope it will end up there.

You and skrilloZeddd also mention RDR2 and The Witcher 3, both of which I've started though TW3 just doesn't grab me yet. I'm working on RDR2, though it took a couple of starts to get the control system down to actually begin enjoying it. Not sure what's the problem, probably just my broken brain lol!

But what I just started and am really enjoying is Baldur's Gate 3. Haven't played much like it though I tried Pillars of Eternity at one point for just a bit, but I'm really enjoying BG3 so far. I'm not 100% comfortable yet with the wide-openness of "just do stuff" but I'm getting there!

I've heard the start in rdr2 can be slow and daunting, which I felt for a while too. But after a while I got used to the slow, waggy walking, and the slow pace of the game - if you let it. I spent a lot of time just riding around, or sitting by campfires. It was relaxing tbh. Witcher 3 has a great story, and I loved it. But suppose the start there can be tough too, in the first area (White orchard). It's almost like a tutorial. After that the game opens up a lot, and you can basically go anywhere and do whatever.

Pillars of eternity was good, and that period with kickstarter games was brilliant. Thought the game was pretty good too, but something was off as well. Another game of thar type I really liked is Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Fantastic game. Not tried their second game, tho.

Want to play BG3 as well, even if it's turn-based instead of RTWP. But it's too madly priced for the moment, so I'll have to wait. Heard lots of praise tho, so I'm sure it's great. Glad to hear you enjoy it 🙂

I've seen quite many people who praise HFW as better than the first game, so perhaps you'll enjoy it more than I did. But to me the first game was superior, and such an awe inspiring story, and the hand holding in the second grinded me down

That is so funny you say that, cause I've almost best Horizon Zero Dawn (or the 1st one I mean) I literally own the 2nd one, it's sitting in my shelf as we speak, but I haven't even took the plastic wrap off it yet..

I was digging the first one for awhile, but sometimes I'm the type if I start to struggle or get bored or annoyed with a game I'll just switch games. I want to still beat it lol I just needed a break.

Same with RDR2, I put so many hours into it, then I eventually take a good few to several month break before I play it again.

I'm frickin' stuck on Stardew right now tho lol
