What’s the best plant to put into the garden pot?

I’m planning on a making a mini greenhouse in a shed and wondering what would be the best crop (multiple harvests) to plant profit wise. I’m thinking about having pineapples?

Pineapples is the most valuable crop to put in a garden pot.

Hops would be an alternative if you can remember to harvest daily and turn them into pale ale.

Pineapples are ideal for the Garden Pot and if you use

Deluxe Retaining Soil, you never need to rewater them so can treat them like Sprinkled crops. i did the "basically make a shed a greenhouse with a bunch of pineapples in garden pots" once but boy was is it a process to get all those pots and all that deluxe retainer. Solid moneymaker once you finish setting it up though.

honestly, these days I mostly just take the freebie from Evelyn and set it up in the kitchen with the spouse's favorite (i.e. a strawberry, usually. Can make a Sunflower work too, though).

i made a coffeehouse shed with garden pots once. Do Not Actually Recommend It (keeping on top of harvesting it is more time-consuming than it was worth) unless you're doing a gimmick/challenge playthrough. Like hops, it sounds like a good idea until you remember you have to actually pick it all and you find yourself never even getting into town before 11, nevermind the skull cavern/ginger island.

I similarly just use the one from Evelyn, but I put it in the kitchen as seasonal decor, sort of. Each season I plant a mixed flower seed and water it until it blooms, then keep it there until the next season.

Tea saplings don't need water. I usually have one in the kitchen alongside a keg for making tea.

Yes, that works quite good. Makes a nice inhouse decoration and you'll have tea leafes all around the year.

I'm using garden pots for tea leaves, too. Using the space outside of the soil of the greenhouse!
