Greetings, ConcernedApe, and to all who read this.

First off, I want to say that I love this game so much. I have been playing for a good while now, and have only just recently gotten my friend into SDV as of a few weeks ago.
She and I, as well as another friend of ours have started a co-op save, and we've all have been enjoying it lately, because it provides another option to keep us entertained in the game.
With all of this being said, I would love to pass on this idea of mine that I thought would be a fun feature to have in Stardew Valley.

Basically, I was thinking of another option to co-op play, without losing the "personal feel" of your farm.
It's
not crossplay by any means, and it's not the same as local co-op, as it requires you and friends to be on the same platform, and each player having bought the game in the first place.
What you could do, is add a toggle a setting that allows visitors from your friends list, to drop by your farm and hang out with you for the day, without you losing the feel of a personal farm. Keep everything about co-op the same, and everything that revolves around that.
You could also make it so that the wizard is the one that has you help him craft some kind of altar that can teleport you to your friend's farm provided they have the setting enabled. Make it so that you can only build the altar via a quest given to you at a specific friendship level with the wizard, or something.

I love co-op play, and I also love playing single player, and I didn't know if I'd ever get the chance to try it out, since I started playing. But I also love working on my own farm on my down time, and I'd love the chance to make a "guest house" and decorate that house by rearranging and adding furniture to it to make it feel like a true guest house, that I can let my small group of friends and family temporarily use while they are visiting my farm.

Thanks for reading! :)
