Switch Switch Crash split screen

Hello! Since the new update 1.6, my partner and I have been playing split-screen on the Switch for months. However, now we are unable to enter a mine together. Whenever we place a cherry bomb, we get kicked out with an error message.

I have also had this issue along with my co-op partners volcano mines not loading any rocks or enemies.

This keeps happening to me on co-op split screen too. Not only mines/bombs. Haven’t used bombs at all. Also haven’t had any animal hats. We aren’t doing anything in particular that I have noticed that causes it. Simply walking through town and it will crash. It even happened once immediately after the game saved (thank god I didn’t want to redo that whole day).
There used to be some lag when one of us was fishing or sometimes when someone walks into a new area but on 1.6 it happens all the time now. A lot more lag on this update so far and the crashes makes it so frustrating to play :(

Same! i'm wondering if this is a Switch issue or maybe due other settings etc. or only splitscreen?> hoping he solves it

This issues seems to happen on switch and my xbox x. We also happen to glitch when picking up items. The seem to just freeze mid air.

Hi all! I was disappointed to find this new bomb bug with the much awaited update. However, I found on my multiplayer game that explosive ammo (requires level 8 combat and costs 1 iron bar + 2 coal) with the master slingshot does NOT cause a game crash. It’s a small work around but might prove helpful for those still looking for quick way through the mines. Hope this helps!
