Platform: Nintendo Switch 2
Game Version: Latest available version (issue appeared after a recent update)
Mode: Local split-screen co-op (2 players)
Description: We have over 150 hours on our co-op farm, and this issue only started recently.
Whenever one player opens the cooking menu and selects any recipe so that the detailed recipe window (ingredients and description) is displayed, the other player's screen immediately drops to around 10 FPS.
The player viewing the recipe experiences no noticeable slowdown. Only the other player's gameplay becomes extremely laggy.
As soon as the recipe details are closed, the other player's framerate instantly returns to normal.
Steps to reproduce:
Start a local split-screen co-op game on Nintendo Switch 2.
Have either player interact with the kitchen.
Open the cooking menu.
Select any recipe so that the recipe details are displayed.
Expected result: The other player's game should continue running smoothly.
Actual result: The other player's framerate drops dramatically (approximately 10 FPS) while the recipe details are displayed.
Additional information:
The issue occurs with every recipe we tested.
It happens regardless of which player opens the recipe.
The slowdown only affects the other player's screen.
Closing the recipe details immediately restores normal performance.
This did not occur during our first 150+ hours of gameplay, so it appears to have been introduced by a recent update.idk
