Hi, first i want to thank you for your items id list. It is very useful to me. But i want an iridium grade artisan item like iridium starfruit jelly just for my own satisfaction hoarding all iridium grade items, can you please help me?

@zuido I'm afraid it's not possible in vanilla atm, by using chat cheats you can indeed query flavored items (such as wine, jelly etc) just like I've posted above using the "/iq" command with an item query, and you can indeed specify the iridium quality for every other item using the copy features in the tool or using the "/item" command. However, there is yet no such a command to get flavored items with specified quality that I'm aware of. You can either try modifying your save files (which could be dangerous without a backup) or try installing a mod such as CJB Item Spawner with SMAPI.

@csrainstorm You might have a glitched chicken already in your coop that is probably conflicting names, I don't know why it works like that but sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't, you can also try appending a hashtag + random character at the end of the chicken name or even enabling chat cheats if nothing works :)

Does long codes not work on mobile? :<
I've been trying the batch method and unfortunately it doesn't seem to be able to surpass the character limit. This is probably because you need to tap ok after putting in your customized pet name but with long codes the "ok" button doesn't show up. Anyone has any idea what to do?
I'm just sad cause I thought things will be easier now sighhh

It also doesn't work even 1 on 1 with the new items that doesn't use codes because of how long the name is. It will just cut off the name and name your chickens as so. What shows up there is what the game will name the chicken...

@Cristallia no, it's not possible to break lines inside mobile's pet name input. If you are playing on mobile, you need to turn on "Chat cheats" toggle in the top of the page, which will show you a tutorial that you must follow to type cheats in the chat, that's the only way to get items with long ids on mobile.

@Mak After watching a movie with Jodi and bringing a Loved Concession (such as Chocolate Popcorn or Stardrop Sorbet), she will instantly say your name, triggering an item spawn, which is waaaaay faster than speaking with Gus.

This trick was particularly useful in older versions of the game and for non-PC players who couldn’t use the "Copy Many" feature (as breaking lines at Marnie’s wasn’t possible). However, now with Chat Cheats you can now easily spawn 999 items on mobile as well :s
While this method is still interesting to know, there are now more efficient ways to spawn items ^^

The reddit post I've mentioned is just what I've used for inspiration to make this tool, if you want to copy an item with a longer ID you must use the copy button in the website (it will copy with some extra characters to bypass the limit), for example:

[Book_F${^^
}$riendship]

If that doesn't work, note that the character limit depends on Stardew Valley's language, this tool was tested with english/portuguese/chinese/german, but I'm not sure if other languages have larger characters, if the chicken exploit doesn't work in your language, please let me know.

I've been working on a tool to help you find the IDs of every single item in Stardew Valley updated for the 1.6 update: https://mateusaquino.github.io/stardewids/

With the new two 1.6 changes:
- Unique string IDs
- New gender replacer dialogue command

It's now possible to spawn any item in the game, however, some of the items IDs are too big, but now we can bypass the pet's textbox width limit without breaking the item ID using the new dialogue command. Using the copy feature of this tool you can do this for any item.

Feel free to use it, but do it at your own risk :)

Hi, I tried using a cheat on my PC with 999 items, and it worked fine. But now my name looks like [123][123]... repeated 999 times. Is there any way I can change it back to a normal name? Thanks!
