What happened

I’m not sure if these two issues are related, but I wanted to report them just in case.

On Spring 16, Year 9, during the Desert Festival, I accepted a quest from Marlon in the morning (around 7:00 in-game) to collect around 12 Omni Geodes.

I collected the required amount and went back to Marlon around 12:00 in-game to report the quest. However, the quest seemed to have disappeared, and I was presented with the two quest choices again as if I hadn’t selected one.

I then selected the quest to reach floor 30. I remembered that I hadn’t touched the Statue of Blessings that day, so I used the Return Scepter to go home, touched the statue, and then returned to the desert using the Desert Festival’s transportation.

I continued playing normally afterward.

On September 1, around 12:00 PM real-world time, I also received a phone call while playing. I didn’t answer it and let it go to voicemail. I believe the game remained in the foreground, although I’m not completely certain whether it was briefly backgrounded.

I didn’t think much of the quest issue at the time and assumed I might have remembered the previous day’s quest incorrectly.

However, on September 2, I found an error log in my Stardew Valley folder. The error log was apparently generated during the same in-game day, at 16:00, while I was in the Desert Festival.

I don’t know whether the quest issue, the phone call, and the error log are related. I don’t have screenshots or video of the quest issue, but I wanted to provide the information in case the error log is useful.
