Windows Npc behavior is broken?

For some reason, every npc (except Abigale, whom I married recently) won't move throughout the entire day, and usually would sit in their rooms (luckily I have a high enough friendship with every npc so I can still interact with all of them). The only shops I can use is Pierre's, JojaMart, and Marnie's ranch. I can't access the Stardrop Saloon or the Carpenter's Shop because Gus and Robin just sit in bed all day, and I can't go to the desert since Pam never leaves her couch to go to the bus stop. I've tried restarting the game, restarting my pc, none of which will work. I think it started as soon as year 2 began, since I noticed that the saloon was always empty every time I tried to go to it. I can't figure out how to fix it, so I might need to get another void chicken so I can do the cheat where I name something a specific item id to give me infinite desert warp totems.
I'm on an English single-player world in version 1.6.15, build 24356, and I'm playing on Windows 10 using keyboard and mouse.
Oh, and I just remembered, I accidentally left Aseprite open if that happens to change anything.
