Windows No progress towards Monster Eradication Goals and no Combat XP from monsters killed on Farm

From what I can tell, monsters, at least Slimes and Bats, killed on the farm don't count towards Monster Eradication Goals and the Slimes can't count for Initiation. I've been trying to see how much of Perfection is possible without leaving the farm, and in my testing it doesn't seem to be counted. I've done 2 farm only runs and am currently doing another and had noticed as I saw mentioned here before the issue of no Combat XP from monsters killed on farm. I've tried searching the Wiki and just now the Forum, so apologies if this is retread ground. I'm not sure this is a bug, I think it might just be a lesser known feature, but I'd like to see if any of y'all have come across this and if it is an issue.

FYI the Wiki mentions that no XP is gained from Farm monsters:
