Switch Nintendo Switch freezing when walking through doors?

Hi! First time posting here. For a long time, I have had an issue while playing the game on my Switch. Often times, I will load up the game, start progressing through the day, and then I will walk through a door/transitional pathway, and my whole console will freeze on the black screen with a loud buzzing sound. The only thing that gets me off of this black screen is by holding the power button until it makes a clicking sound and turns off completely, and then restarting it. It sucks because it means I have lost entire days worth of important progress before (the first time I ever completed the Skull Caverns challenge, it happened and I lost all of that progress + the achievement T-T). The reason I am posting this here instead of some Switch-specific forum is because it only ever happens while playing Stardew, and not any other game. Does anyone else have this issue? I think it may be an issue with the console itself, but again, it's really weird that it only happens with Stardew. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

A few things I want to add: I have made sure both my game and my console are fully up to date. I have checked for corrupted data in the software settings on the Switch. I am currently redownloading the software to see if that fixes the issue. I've had this problem for almost as long as I've owned the console, and it's always been with just Stardew. Sometimes I'll go weeks or months without having it freeze, and then other times (like today), it happens almost every time I try to run the game.
