I've been playing Stardew Valley on my phone for a few days now. I bought it from the Play Store; it's completely legal and has no mods or anything, and it's not cracked. But some weird things are happening with the villagers. One day Willy walked across the sea and I couldn't buy anything in his shop, one day I was looking for Maru where she should have been and she wasn't there, And Grandma goes through places for her medical appointment or through the parts of the village with tall leaves (breaking them in the process), and right now I have Penny, Vincent, and the other little girl all stuck together and bugged. Every day I see more and more people bugged and I'm afraid my save file will get corrupted or something T^T.

I've really taken advantage of being able to reload the day from scratch in the game's base options, I don't know if that's it 😔.

Do you usually start on a mid-day save? Those things are known to happen in the mid-day saves, but usually resolve when you restart on a proper save (the emergency save option during the day was only added for mobile, for all other systems you can only save by going to sleep).

have you closed and restarted the app?

Have you been jumping out of the game and using emergency or backup saves? Or have you placed furniture or stood in their path? As far as I know, those are the main things that can mess up how NPCs move.

I usually do yeah, thanks for the tip. Restarting worked recently with penny and the kids, but I remember restarting the day from the beginning and not working on Willy or Maru. I read that it's because of using emergency saves, so I'll try to not let that happen again. If I get worse bugs with the villagers I'll write again. Thanks a lot

Yes I have been using the emergency or backup saves, that must be the issue. I haven't placed any furniture or stood on their path, I just see them go through houses or other things, like walking on the sea. I'll try not using the emergency saves and stuff anymore, if it keeps happening I'll write again. Thanks a lot!
