Switch Mutant Carp won’t appear in collection [Switch]

Hey Y’all!! I’m trying to reach 100% perfection on my Switch save file and I caught all the Legends a long while ago, but when I went to finish my fish collection I noticed the Mutant Carp wouldn’t show up. Is there anything I can do to fix this bug?? I’d be really devastated if this was what stopped me from reaching perfection :( I’m playing on the latest update if that helps! Thank You!!

Somebody suggested doing that and I think I’ll give that a try!! It’s still sitting in my chest so I wonder if I could also try taking it in and out of a fish tank/pond or selling it etc etc?? Either way someone else reminded me about JoJa waivers and as much as I wanted to do a no-joja route I’ll have to swallow my pride I think BCBDBDN

i'm having the same problem with the mussel!!! i play on computer with keyboard and i've collected the mussel via crab pots and the beach shore but it's never showed up in my collection. i'm trying to get the master angler achievement but this might hold me back. my version number is v1.6.15 build 24356

The beach shore doesn’t count. How many have you gotten from crab pots?
