Answered Fish not showing up in collection after catch

While doing the Extended Family Quest for the Qi Challenges, I noticed none of the fish are showing up in my collection. I have caught them all twice and still nothing even after restarting the app, going to sleep, etc. How can I fix this? I want to reach perfection. Thanks!
