iOS [iOS] Fishing mini-game forcefully fails with loud error sound the exact moment the catch gauge is 100% full

Hi, I would like to report a critical fishing bug I encountered on iOS.

[Explain the issue / Any pattern noticed] I am currently fishing level 3. When I keep the fish in the green bar and the catch gauge (the vertical bar on the right) becomes completely full (100%), the mini-game suddenly forces a fail. At the exact moment it hits 100%, a loud, aggressive error/crashing sound (like "bang bang bang!") plays, and the fish disappears.

The pattern is very consistent: it only happens at the very last second when the gauge is fully topped up. It doesn't matter what kind of fish it is. Because the gauge is 100% full, it is definitely not a missed tap or the fish escaping normally. It feels like a system error occurring when the game tries to spawn the caught fish item into my inventory.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting, but none of them fixed the issue:

  • Cleared plenty of inventory space (more than 3 completely empty slots).
  • Slept to save the day, force-closed the app, and restarted my iPhone.
  • Tried different fishing rods, but the exact same issue occurs right when the gauge hits 100%.
[Full error text] None. No error message pops up on the screen; only a loud crashing sound plays and the mini-game ends in failure.

[Game version] iOS Mobile v1.6 (Latest version)

[In-game language] Japanese

[Single-player or multiplayer] Single-player

[Anything else relevant] This issue is 100% not related to a mod. I am playing a completely vanilla, unmodified version on my iPhone.

Has anyone else experienced this on iOS, or is there any known workaround? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
