Windows Mister Qi only uses club dialogue (cross-platform)

I normally play on Windows (10) and I've noticed that post 1.6, Mr. Qi's walnut room dialogue doesn't show anymore and it always reverts to his day of the week (club) dialogue. This was really noticeable to me as I had also been playing on Switch when it was still 1.5 waiting for 1.6, where he still used his walnut room dialogue - post 1.6 update it also has the same issue. I'm not sure exactly which version/build of 1.6 this started to happen so for now I'll say that the current version is 1.6.15 build 24356. In-game language is English, and on singleplayer.

For example, on Thursday in the walnut room he should say: "Wherever you go... I'm always behind the curtain, making sure the show is interesting. Hahaha... Or... am I?"
But instead he says: "Hey. Don't tell anyone about this place, okay? I want to keep it... exclusive. You'd keep a secret for your friend Mr. Qi, wouldn't you?" This is his club dialogue, but he's also using it in the walnut room.

Again, this happens for me on Windows and Nintendo Switch so this is a cross-platform issue.

Ah, that is what felt off. It's the same for me on ps5. He just keeps yapping about keeping it secret, also in the walnut room.

(and Sandy keeps talking about "the man in the back", ie the bouncer, although he's been gone for years)
