Switch It's laggy and raccoon shop doesn't expand

I’m experiencing the same thing. It is so frustrating. I had the same issues with my farm lagging but was able to improve that considerably by removing the hats from my pets. I hope there is a fix for both issues soon.

Same here , and also sometimes i experience stutter while fishing or mining , which is annoying

I'm having the same problem! The popup says it's been expanded but nothing happens :/ No lag for me though (only when playing on docked/TV mode but that happened even before 1.6)

I’m experiencing the same issue! I just completed the dried mushroom task, but when I tried to start the juice task, the game glitched. It automatically went through the completion sequence, even though I hadn’t done anything. It rewarded me with the raccoon hat and said the store expanded, but nothing new is showing up in the store!


Does anyone know if Ape is aware of this issue/if it’s being worked on?

i am not entirely sure if ape is aware but i trust there's ought to be one day he sees it from twitter posts or forum posts like this one, so i hope he will get it sorted!! i literally trust this man about stardew more than me about my life lolol

I am on switch, and I have completed all raccoon requests, however the wife's shop still only has the four seeds. From what I have read on wiki I believe it updates with every request you complete. I do see the pop up saying the shop is expanded every time but it is actually not.
Also it is lagging so badly when I am in my farm, I'm wondering if I have too many crops/buildings/kegs or something.
It is so bad that I registered for this forum so I can ask everybody about it.

I’m on Xbox and have the same issue with the Racoon shop I feel like I’ve done a million quests but no expansion.

Same here I’m on switch and the last thing I gave him was 5 crawfish and a smoked chub. Nothing is expanded my game is laggy, not too terribly, but things like cooking are super laggy and also while I’m on my farm. I accidentally put a hard hat on my horse years ago(game time) and I have tried everything to take it off without success. If someone old maybe tell me how to do that on switch that’d be super cool.

Experiencing both issues, I play primarily on my switch, and the raccoon shop never expands beyond the four new seed types, and I am also experiencing lag. The lag isn’t so bad, except when it occurs during the fishing mini game
I hope it gets fixed soon!!

I've had all of these issues! Every single one of them all of you have listed. This sucks. I was so excited when I saw the racoon and then his babies! Adorable! But damn this sucks. I hope concerned ape notices this issue and figures out a fix soon.

Same here. Big sad. Our pet disappeared after year one as well. We got through the crashes by closing the game every 5 days but there are a ton of bugs
